If something/person weighed more than 12 pounds, you would be correct. Since Obama weighed lest that one stone, only the mentions of pounds would be used.

Additionally, the doctor signed the birth certificate on 8/7/1961, and in Europe, a line is drawn thru the 7 so as to make it look like a reversed F. I was in Europe for only a short time but seemed to have picked up this oddity and use it everyday.

I am assuming that the 7 in this case would be made as it is in Europe.
