Here is inspiring video of a Mississippi High School Quarterback who potentially saved 22 children on a school bus by tackling a 14 year-old girl wielding a loaded gun and threatening to kill students.
Kaleb Eulls was on the bus, and when he realized she had the gun he tackled the girl getting the gun away from her. He is now being hailed as a hero for his bravery.
The video is grainy, but shows him tackling the girl, and also contains an interview with the hero. . . . (Watch Video)

All I can tell from looking at the video is that she was very irate, and she was mad at somebody on the bus that she stated had been picking on her or messing with her,
The girl got fed up. I’m not condoning what she did, but the kids that were making her life miserable should be made to take some responsibility in this as well. Numerous times while growing up as the butt of everyone’s jokes I also contemplated something along this line. Thankfully I didn’t try it. Kids, especially teenagers, can be especially cruel. Their taunting, teasing, and bullying messed me up for a long time.
The video from NBC says he is a QB and also plays on defense. But it is certainly possible that NBC got it wrong.
I found it in another story out of MS, and he does play QB though he’s being recruited to major universities due to his play on defense.
I dealt with a lot of being picked on and made fun of myself. The answer isn’t to bring a gun into the situation, by any means.
Great job by this young man.
Rightfully so.
The kids probably are giving their behavior a bit of a review today.
This girl may have never been allowed to defend herself in a measured way with all the tripe they teach today under the guise of "anger Management and conflict resolution" policies.
I'm not defending doing what she did it's an example of someone who has definitely reached the dangerous explosive anger stage and is beyond rational thinking.
Was that a Raven .25?
Ok, but did he have to knock her down? Looks to me like he used excessive force. Where is Eric Holder?
What a great story about a heroic young man. This country needs more men like this, willing to move *toward* the sound of danger instead of away. Notice the part about how he intentionally attracted her attention, making her point the gun at him instead of at anyone else. Then he saw an opening to tackle her and he took it.
Awesome.
