I don't care how sorry Blount will claim to be later. There are so many good young men who aren't thugs who would love to even be out there for just one play. College football needs to send a strong message that such behavior wont be tolerated, but sadly Blount will probably just get a one or few game suspension.

Yeah I saw that the BSU player said something - they are big boys and I'm sure lots of stuff gets said - punches from a blindside aren't the normal reaction.
What was worse was the way he danced away like he was so proud of himself, then I honestly believe he would have been in the stands beating a fan senseless if the four men who jumped on him hadn't stopped him. Sure, the fan obviously said something to him and he said something back - then the over used "F You" was thrown.... but the oregon player showed he was completely out of control - completely. He should be kicked off the team, period.
Your are right HG - too many kids waiting in the wings - if the coach puts him back in it will happen again - just like he had trouble with Blount at the beginning of practice. They announced he had already lost time for behavioral issues
