Two senior administration officials confirm to FOX News that President Obama is actively considering a prime-time address from the Oval Office or an address to a joint session of Congress to invigorate the debate, as Congress returns from a rocky recess. And the path forward, as the president sees it, is to unify Democrats around the three House bills and one Senate bill that have already passed out of committee.

Actually, this would be better than his carving out his own plan (which I was skeptical of to begin with...When’s he ever done that?). This will sink his approval ratings even faster.
O still firmly believes in his ability to persuade people. He is not aware of his lack of credibilty.
This will fail and I do mean epic fail.

Up to now, Obama has been struggling to stifle debate on the bill. He knew talking about the content of the bill would stiffen resistence and wanted it passed without being read. And when citizens try to debate the bill, they get branded as unpatriotic brown shirts or stooges of the RNC or insurnace industry.
You are right that obama thinks all he has to do is speak and it will be so. I am amazed tho that his handlers aren’t telling him the truth.
I hope they don’t. I hope he does go before a joint congress and announce it is his plan or no plan.
I also hope he calls Republicans assholes like his buddy, the green czar Jones did.
