And here in Mexico we face our challenges. Watch, for the NORTHERN states to pull away...the Yucatan Penisula has always wanted Independence, they want to keep their oil, the Indian Ethnic areas, Oaxaca/Guerrero/Chiapas would stand together and sell their hydroelectric power to the rest..and the CORN belt...Veracruz to Queretaro, Puebla, Guadalajara, most of the ole Aztec empire... and it would be the Balkanization of Mexico...the Northern States would be friendly to New Mexico, Arizona, California and Texas... What do you think?

I think you’re right. Culturally, Monterrey is not very different from Dallas. Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas are already tied just as strongly to Texas as to the DF; it wouldn’t take much to make the arrangements more formal.
