I take it that’s height above sea level, not height above the ground.

That’s a lot less than the guy who walked between the twin towers.

Suggestion - set up a cable about 6 inches above the parking lot at the top of Pike’s Peak, and set a new world record.

Exactly. Very misleading since the highest rope walk I have ever heard of was back in the seventies when some French guy walked a wire between the Twin Towers. Now length-wise this guy did quite the feat. I also presume that the cable was on a small decline so that might have helped a little.
