same to you! it’s 65 degrees here which i LOVE! it is such a thrill to feel coolness instead of the heat and humidity of the past few weeks! They were predicting a high of 72 today and i couldn’t imagine that after the hot humid weekdend!
I had the heater on in the car this morning. It got into the 40s last night. Tonight should be the same.
Our clothes washer started acting up Saturday night, so we ordered a new washer and dryer. Come Sunday, the price for each was about $50 higher.
i hear they are giving cash for washers now, see about getting some gubmint $ for your clunker!
Like with my motorcar, I fear I’ll be ahead of the curve on this one, too.
what do you mean ahead of the curve? we got a high efficiency washer last summer. are they considered new fangled up your way?

I bought my new Kia a few months before the clunker trade in. I figure about the same for my washer.
On the other hand, I don’t know if my new one would qualify anyway. It’s not one of those $800 super efficient front-loading things.
that guy was a brown shirt creepoid......he works for the school district though....not sure of his actual policing powers.
Next year you will be required to trade in that KIA on a foot peddaled model, ala Fred Flintstone....
Next year there won’t be a $300 washing machine available. Good time to buy stock in a laundromat.
we had a HECK of a time finding a top loading washer. no way i wanted a front loader and those pedestal things are just stupid-looking to me. we were sucked into a more expensive model bc that was available for delivery the following day. anything cheaper would have required a week’s wait for it to be ordered.
so mother Rose wanted the kennedy compound to become a monastery? but ted put a stop to that and now it is to be a learning center to expound on ted...something like a presidential library? she must be rolling in her grave at this.
