The video sux. It just shows a couple seconds of chute, ground getting closer.
I want to see the guy hit the roof.
(He survived, so it isn’t ghoulish)
Seriously: there was a case (during WW2 I think it was) where a man fell from many thousands of feet with NO parachute. He crashed through a glass roof, and survived.

The terminal velocity of a falling human being with arms and legs outstretched is about 120 miles per hour (192 km per hour) - the resistance of the air rushing by slows him down. A free-fall from 30,000 feet or one from 10,000 Feet would result in the same termional velocity of approx 120 mph.

I remember reading the story in Reader's Digest when I was kid, probably in the mid 1950’s.
Someone else survived - can’t remember when ...
Winter time, chute never opened, fell into 30-foot snow drift between the trees in a forest ... bumps, bruises, and scrapes only !!!
I read something similar years ago. The dropee in question was a British bomber crewman whose chute didn't fully deploy. He crashed thru the limbs of a fir tree and landed in a snowbank during winter. He survived albeit with some broken bones.
