Is Ted still dead?
Poor guy, he died. Here's a clue for everyone on the entire planet - WE ALL DIE!
The question amongst men of honor is how we lived our lives.
Personally, I believe the Ted Kennedy was a man of dis-honor, and a socialist who has done more harm to our Constitutional principles than any other politician in my lifetime of some 60 years.
And guess what? I get to say, I hated the man when he was alive and still hate him being dead!.
What is with people who can despise a person during their living days, and then feel bad for them just because they died? Again, we all die.
I agree with you about Kennedy, however, the current occupant of the White House is doing and will do more harm to our country that anyone in history.

That being said, if most people lived to be 140 and Ted did not get brain cancer, he would be re-elected for a few
more decades by the good people of Mass.

I’m hearing a lot of people on talk radio, and seeing what they say on messageboards, saying “you shouldn’t speak ill of the dead.”
Why not?
How about the libs who feasted on Reagan’s death? “Ronald Reagan dies, descends to hell” one was memorable diatribe.
Or, they can say that but we can’t?
All Ted Kennedy did was spend the taxpayers money with all his “legislation”! I am so sick of the media telling us how he helped the country. HOW? He and his liberal with the help from some Republicans have done nothing but put us deeper and deeper in debt with their “legislation”!!!!! Good riddance to Ted Kennedy!
My late Dad used to say, a guy could be the worst SOB in town, but suddenly, at his funeral, he is transformed into a saint, LOL.
Ted Kennedy was an enemy of the Republic, and as for all enemies of the Republic, foreign or domestic, I shed no tears for their demise.
He was a WWII Vet who was awarded the Bronze Star for saving a fellow soldier.
Dunne was a hero. Nothing less than a peep did we hear from the MSM.

We’re supposed to be in awe of the Kennedy family? Why?
We’re supposed to be in awe of the next generation of Kennedys, and wonder what comes next, and if any more will be politically active?
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lectures us about global warming.
Caroline Kennedy sure acted as if she felt entitled to be appointed a Senator from New York.
Various other Kennedys have been involved in scandalous personal behavior. The aforementioned RFK Jr. was busted for drugs. I hate to get personal, but maybe drugs affected his mind. If you hear him speak about global warming and liberal causes, you know what I mean. Another Kennedy cousin was involved with an under aged babysitter, I think? Another had his marriage annulled so he could still be a good Catholic, but had violated his marriage vows. And do you all remember the William Kennedy Smith rape case.
I find nothing to admire about the Kennedys politically. They have done some charity work, if I recall correctly. So we can commend them for that. But oveall, I get the impression that this family is full of their sense of entitlement. The MSM and liberals treat them as if they are American’s royal family.

I maintain, “if you are a SOB while you are alive, when you die, you are a dead SOB !!!!!!!

Camelot’s mystique ended when Forrest drank too much Dr Pepper and told JFK he had to pee. He was the original citizen who got all wee wee’d up over the President.
But neither Dominic nor Farrah needed the attention. They were happy with who they were.

We vets can’t forget that in his two years in the Army — hiding from the Korean War behind a desk Daddy Joe arranged for him in Belgium — he rocketed up from the rank of Private (E-1) to ... Private (E-1.)! This would be the standard for the rest of his wretched life.

Okay, so we should never talk ill of anyone once they die even though we talked "ill" of them while they were alive.
Okay, got it. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc. all died. So I shouldn't talk ill of them. And no, Ted Kennedy was not in the same category, but if you want to be intellectually honest, then the philosophy stands.
Once again, WE ALL DIE! So what? Why does just dying make our lives more important and our actions more righteous? Please, someone tell me why getting dead makes anyone more important, as compared to what they did while living, military/cops/firemen excluded.
