(I know, that's probably a racist thing to say.)
We had “Poo Kitty” for 24 years. She was a runt, so we really don’t know how old she was when we took her from harms way. She was a grown cat, not a kitten when we took her home to keep the neighbor at our business location from continuing to shoot her with a BB gun.
Most of the cats we have last between 15 and 18 years. We thought “Poo” was quite exceptional.
I was gonna say, that picture would be damn good for 36 years ago.
Not necessarily. I have watched out the window and seen our cat Bat come to a stop at curbside, look both ways, then cross the street. She is really quite an intelligent cat.
You better be drinking a lot of that water, just to be safe.
Thousands wouldn’t believe you, but I do. Really.
I’m calling the papers. Daffynition has written a truly serious post.
And I agree with you, too!
In contrast, this 21yo pooch looks every bit her age:

An old boyfriend of mine had a cat that grew up with him. His mom found it when it was a newborn kitten (yes, she should have left it alone) and b.f. was a baby. The cat died when it and b.f. were 27.
See my comment at #51.
Did John Kerry give it CPR?
Awww! Those are the hardest to lose.
My cat MiMi was a stray and she had been living as a homeless cat in a colony behind my apt bldg about 4 yrs ago. She was always outside and even when she did come in to eat and sleep (she adopted me) she would venture out everyday even for a while.
When I moved a few years ago she still went outside but then one day she changed her mind. She has no interest in going outside at all. She seems content and happy and not neurotic at all. I encourage her on diff occasions to come outside accompanying her but she wants nothing to do with “OUTSIDE”
