Just getting over a bug right now...i was ngative for swine flu but this was a mighty bad bug...it dropped me to my knees and i don’t think i’ve ever had fevers that high before...i am weak as a kitten still....good luck...drink LOTS of fluid.
I am just getting over a bug myself. About a week and a half ago, I felt something starting, a bit of a sore throat, etc. I thought it was a cold as of last Saturday. About Sunday afternoon, I knew it was the flu. Really sick, coughing, lots of lung and sinus junk, sweating, low fever, etc.
Feeling a bit better today, but not 100% yet. Drinking lots of fluids, including grapefruit juice. Still not sleeping well, but on the upswing. I hope you feel better. I wondered if it was the Swine Flu. I didn’t bother with the doctor, so I might never know.
The 15-minute quick tests are only 50% correct. I am terribly sorry in advance for this link going where it goes, but it’s true. My son also tested negative but he got the flu (and I know the flu when I see it) one week to the day of being exposed to it in the ER. The nasal swabs are just not definitive.
