I don't think they have any idea what the hell they are doing. Just winging it and hoping to avoid a public panic, IMO.
I did read the other day that teachers had been instructed to NOT tell anyone if they knew a child had been diagnosed, so I guess I'll never know where it came from.
Hers was the first confirmed case at our doctors office, which is a very large medical facility. He was a bit shocked.

I read recently that it's not effective in treating either 6% or 18% of swine flu. I don't remember which. But I remember thinking, "It's still highly effective in most cases".
