got any magnets or speakers close to the screen?

any fans or motors near the screen
go into the on screen display and hunt around till you find factory reset or factory preset and activate that, it might fix it for a while
right click on the desktop and go into graphics properties or properties then settings. Make sure the refresh rate is no higher than 60 they actually last less on 75.

LCDs aren’t affected by magnets like CRTs are.

Tht was my first thought. Dh tells me that some phones (cordless and cell) also will do the same thing.
