Can you download your messages to your mail client?

The problem with using the email service of your ISP is not so much loosing old mail, as much as loosing NEW mail that comes from old contacts.
It is what I regretted when I left the US. I had Bellsouth as my ISP.
One should always have a web based Email, and let all your contacts know what it is, in case you change your ISP.

I now do all email via Yahoo, Hotmail, and Gmail.
Never will I use the ISP email.
