I just bought the complete set of Battlestar Galactica DVDs. I watched a few of the last episodes on SciFi and was so impressed I stopped watching and decided to watch the whole thing on DVD.
I thought the show was great for the first 2 seasons or so, then it went to hell fast - filled with navel-gazing, self-loathing angst in every episode. Be interesting to see what you think of it as you watch it.

The two episodes I saw involved a mutiny and were not only superbly written, they were well acted and very good.
