Governor down 20 points even among African-Americans.
State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's standing has reached near-record high levels among voters, while Gov. Paterson would lose to him in a 2010 Democratic primary -- even among blacks, according to a poll released today.
Cuomo has a near-record-high 70 percent favorability rating, while only 14 percent have an unfavorable view of him, according to a poll by the Siena Research Institute.

The Democrat media has trashed Paterson to make way for their hero Andrew Kennedy Cuomo. Of course, their last hero Elliot Spitzer didn’t work out too well.
Of course they did. Paterson is far, far right by New York standards.
His dad was also. I thought Rudy said he might run.
Rudy is good fiscally but a flaming liberal socially.

NY is a mess ... not enough conservatives.
I just read where Rudy will decide by January, if not before. A conservative in every area wouldn’t win in NY. He’d be the best thing that happened to NY state like he was to NYC, IMO. He’d be taking on a mess like he did w/NYC - not sure there are many who want/need the aggravation of the cleanup process. NY had enough of the ‘Cuomo’ incompetence along w/david blaming his failure on his race - he needs time out to work on his deep seated emotional issues.
Cuomo will never be normal - he’s aliberal through and through. Rudy would be better ... . His personal life is under control now.
