>Mustard on a BURGER???!!! Yeech!
What?
The above is from your "about" page, newbie.
You do understand that Free Republic is a forum for "conservatives" don't you?
That is, "conservatives" as in "politics?"
Now why in the heck would anyone who claims he doesn't give a shit about politics become a poster on Free Republic?
Hmmmmm??
What kind of "conservative" claims to have lost his interest in politics at a time when a Marxist dirtbag occupies the most powerful office in the country and is trying to fundamentally transform the country into a socialist hellhole?
Could it be that your objective in posting "illuminati" conspiracy crap is to try to marginalize Freepers, so that people in other media (you?) can point to threads like this on Free Republic and say, look at the crazy crap those Freepers believe in, don't listen to their political points?
> So there is no place on Freerepublic for such posts for fun and speculation per you? If so I will stick to Religion on here and avoid this topic.
Had you lurked for a while before posting you would have gathered that the “Illuminati” subject pops up from time to time — usually posted by a n0oB — and it gets treated with a fairly hi degree of levity and derision, as often does the hapless poster.
You might also have gathered that there are a few FReemasons here (I’m one of many). We’re not “precious” about our membership in The Brotherhood, but we’re equally unlikely to treat the subject of the Illuminati at all seriously. The FRee Republic is a Conservative site, and nobody is more conservative than the FReemasons — except perhaps the Catholics and the Jews, of which there are also more than a few on the FRee Republic.
Perhaps not by coincidence the “Illuminati” subject encompasses Freemasons, Catholics and Jews — none of whom are likely to deal with threads on the subject with anything other than levity bordering on derision.
You may yet attract some “IBTZ”’s and the Viking Kitties, you may not — I don’t know. There’s nothing particularly un-Conservative about your post, yet there’s nothing particularly Conservative about it, either.
Those are my thoughts, anyrate. Others may have differing views.
The Illuminati is not Jewish- It’s Satanic and goes clear back to the Garden. (and there is, understandably, volumns of disinformation about it.)
(Do a google on Fritz Springmeier)
oh and You won’t get a warm welcome here at FReepers.....
The Illuminati hah! Everyone knows the Stonecutters are the invisible hand. The Metric system stays down.
Mayo, relish and catsup or Bob’s thousand Island dressing are the only acceptable hamburger condiments. Mustard on burgers causes cancer, dementia and in-grown toenails.
> Thanks! I hope my posts are a fun to read.
You’re welcome. It was interesting: I have skimmed it and bookmarked it for later reading in depth. At a glance it covers fairly familiar ground.
FReepers are naturally suspicious of No0bS who join and immediately start posting. This is because that is precisely what trolls do, and we get a fair few of those.
Accordingly, nO0bs tend to get a bit of a hazing: it separates the trolls from the innocent and naive newcomers. You may see some of that.
The Illuminati are but ants compared to the power of the Admin Moderators.
If you really want some fun, post something about TWA flight 800.
Most conspiracy theories have difficulty linking up with the modern era. Adam Weishaupt fits into today's health care debate exactly how?
I see the same lack of structure when people discuss the origins of political correctness. They give me history about The Frankfurt School, but never join up how the trigger was pulled to give us the secular religion of today.
LOL
Well played.
And even the Admin Moderators defer to... Jim Himself
What about the Anthrax threads? Those were pretty entertaining too.
You mean that Jim Thompson guy we been hearing about?
>Mayo, relish and catsup or Bobs thousand Island dressing are the only acceptable hamburger condiments.
Relish1? I suppose you’re talking about sweet-pickle relish, right?
>Mustard on burgers causes cancer, dementia and in-grown toenails.
I don’t believe I have cancer or in-grown toenails... but that might be the result of my dementia. ;)
Yes, absolutely, sweet relish. If you stop the burger mustard now there may still be hope for your brain.
>Yes, absolutely, sweet relish.
Yuck. Pickles are supposed to be sour or maybe spicy.. not sweet!
You already admitted having dementia.
If not my reply is as follows:
Let me get this right, you accuse me of posting an article about the nature of conspiracy as part of a conspiracy? That is why I thought you were kidding around because that one is funny as all get out.
So you are saying in your vocabulary politics also involves 'cultural issues (degradation of our cultural values, etc)' and 'religion' (marginalizing Christians) and the 'war on Islamist terrorists' (self explanatory)? So I have to discuss politics like who I am backing in the next election and what the problem is with our tax system as well for you to be happy? Maybe that is why I want to avoid discussion on such topics with people who accuse first such as yourself?
Lastly, since your grasp is limited - this article was an analytical view of the possible real world origins of the modern conspiracy view of the matter - from a scholarly point of view not an Alex Jones point of view?
How was that response as a noob on my part? Can I sit at the cool kids table now?
I apoligize in advance if my remarks back seemed snarky - but if you were not joking you had it coming.
