Franks said there was not enough evidence that Obama is not an American citizen.

It is not incumbent upon the people to prove he isn't a natural born citizen. BO is required per Article 2 Section 1 to prove he is a natural born citizen.

I agree with you. The article did say that Franks was considering a lawsuit regarding the Obama birth certificate issue.

I think it even goes beyond what a president is required by law to do. obama knows there are people questioning his qualifications for office. He should care about the concerns of the American people and he should produce the BC to reassure eveyone, if for no other reason. The fact that he won’t do it is very significant, IMO.

I can’t believe that Obama got a passport without providing an actual birth certificate.

Even the FBI, CIA, State files should have background information on Obama. I would hope that they have information on his foreign travels (to Pakistan). They should know whether he had a foreign passport.

I have the feeling that even the Republicans are stonewalling this issue.
