Saying that her clothes are unattractive is not “outrage.” It’s just ... well, being women ;-).

Seems some people are actually outraged, outraged "Some people"? That's very vague. Who?

Well, she could have worn a pair of below the knee “capri” pants. More more flattering, and just as cool in hot weather.

Pretty ordinary outfit for a hot day.
The real problem was all those magazines that said she is the best dressed lady in the world and a model for everyone to admire and imitate. Now she has that reputation to live up to.
Since it was an obvious lie in the first place, and since there’s a limit to how many $5,000 outfits even Michelle can come up with, and since who wants to wear a ballroom dress for a hike in the desert, how can she manage to live up to it?

What do you wear on your summer vacation?I'm not "outraged" and I am not the First Lady either, so no one cares whether I dress tastefully or not.

I don’t really care, but IMHO she could have done better. She is the first lady and she is in a public forum. Shorts are ok if she is around the house or in her garden, but not getting off Air Force One. Put a skirt on and change in the house. This doesn’t deserve a headline.

I’ll bet she could use those calves to chase you down and put a load of hurt upside your head...
Look at her husband’s abject look of fear when he is around her.
Just kidding!

I call B.S. on this LA Times article.
Who is outraged? Who cares?
Nobody, absolutely nobody has a problem with this. This is just LA Times trying to gin up some pity for this poor abused first lady.

Looks photoshopped... the guard on the right is an exact replica of the guard on the left. Perhaps, they are identical twins.

She could have worn something a LITTLE less sloppy.
A pretty sun-dress, 'skorts' or a nice skirt with a short-sleeved linen top, maybe a nice casual hat . . .
Fact is, the poor woman has no taste. I look better than that while I'm training dogs or shoveling mulch, let alone being in the public eye as First Lady.
