If Napoleon was right about not interfering with an [in this case political] enemy in the process of destroying itself, this could be a time for Republicans to lay low. According to Ed Schultz, the left could be on the verge of an anti-Obama crack-up.
On his MSNBC show this evening, Schultz said to the face of a senior admin official that the left is seriously considering dumping support for the president.

He and Robert Gibbs are secretly dating.
I will leave it up to you to come up with a
reality show premise starring both of them when the
Obama star fades, and flickers and finally goes out.

The Left will consider dumping support for Nobama? Not in a million years. To do so would be an admission that their ‘08 Summer of Love for their Messiah was - gulp - wrong. Ain’t ever gonna happen...

I have been tuning into Air America on the drive in to work, and that is pretty much the sentiment from the callers and from the host. They are pissed he is not using his bully pulpit to get public option. Instead, despite the spin Pelosi is trying to put on it, they know they are going to have to settle for much less than they wanted. The escalating war in Afghanistan and the fact that GITMO is still open are also on their minds.
So the left is going to dump Obama and embrace Sarah Palin now?

According to Ed Schultz, the left could be on the verge of an anti-Obama crack-up.What Obama does not understand yet is that he is what the Left is best at: a one-night stand. Fascinating when drunk, but you are shoved out the door the next morning when a temporary sobriety shocks you with what you went to bed with.
