Of course it’s legal, just poor judgement.

I dont know ... seems to me that it is doing a good job of keeping the hired thugs from trying to intimidate / assault people

Yeah I have to admit I’m charmed by people exercising their rights but if this form of demonstration keeps up eventually somebody will do something really stupid and and gun rights advocates will end up with a PR nightmare.

I think that your comment sums it up best, it is a bonehead thing to do for any reason. Besides creating panic it would also be a good way to get yourself detained or even shot by a jumpy secret service agent. Lord knows, guarding Obama must be a difficult enough assignment without things like this. There is no point he couldn't of made in another fashion.

Of course its legal, just poor judgement. That is what many on the side of the communists would have American Citizens believe.
Actually it needs to be done to the extent that it is not even noticed such as . . .

or here...

or even here...

or even such an outlandish concept as guns in a school...

Bullshit! If I was going to one of these events knowing that the union thugs and Obama's troublemakers were possibly going to be there, I'd arm myself as well, and displaying these weapons legally sends a powerful message to the marxists.
Seems to me their are just a lot of week-kneed freepers these days.

Of course its legal, just poor judgement.Really poor judgment. One supposes this guy thinks he's making some sort of RKBA statement, and I suppose he is.... but he's also feeding the flames of the "Obama's endangered by right-wing extremists" movement. It's plausibly interpreted as a threat.
Sometimes it's better to just not make a statement.
