In San Diego, Marine and Navy jets are the usual.
They have to keep in ready mode, and constant
training based here at Marimar Marine Air Base and North Island Naval Air Station.
They are great to see.
But they know what you REALLLLLY meant. You best sleep with one eye open.
Ignore that stuff. Petty. The SS has better things to so that contact people that say things unless it is a direct threat, for instance, someone says they plan to do something. Much ado about nothing. It’s perfectly fine to say what you did. You could have said I wish he would have and it would still be ok.
