One thing you can say about the Woodstock generation, they sure do like issuing those “permits.” I guess it’s a money thing.

I understand a building permit in the King county area (Seattle) runs around $23,000 to $27,000 now. When we built our family’s home in 1967 our building permit cost approximately $7.50.

There is a bit more than inflation going on here. ;)

The real men of that generation were fighting in Vietnam. The ex hippies who run the dimocrap party have no moral authority, nor do they possess one ounce of common sense. Today, the inmates are running the asylum.
