I agree. Though not trick photography, his low angle does make it appear larger. There’s a great video on his technique in post 19 below. Probably spends hours in the surf for one or two great shots!

Fake. The beach is dry.Doesn't look dry to me. Looks like there is water from a previous wave behind the guy in the water.
