Comparing someone with Hitler doesnt not create a fallacy. Even if some leftist gave the “fallacy” a latin name.

Strauss, inventor of the so-called “reductio ad hitlerium fallacy”, also taught that “perpetual deception of the citizens by those in power is critical, because they need to be led, and they need strong rulers to tell them what’s good for them.”

Sounds like a guy we shouldn’t model our arguments on.
