Got an email from an old bud recently re. GRASSFIRE/RESISTNET.
I sent him this reply:
Not positive but I smell a JUDAS GOAT.
These sites COULD be created by the radical left -- much as the phoney Kenyan birth certificate was -- as a way to compile a list of the most strident Obama opponents. And I'm concerned that the site REQUIRES a physical address. To make it easier to round us all up? Don't know. And I clicked on a link to ask the "moderator" some of these questions and was taken to a pop up to JOIN -- complete with street address. You can't ask these guys a freaking question without JOINING FIRST?? I backed out of the site and probably will not join until they have some serious history.
I also noted reading the member posts that one guy had numerous polite and legitimate Obama birth certificate comments removed.
Not for me until I learn a hell of a lot more about them.
I'll ask the folks on Free Republic what they think and let you know.
(End of email to bud)
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
I think Grassfire wass a Micheal Reagan thing
Good people need to be extra-vigilant against false-flag and infiltration attacks as this sorry and potentially tragic episode in American history plays itself out.
The left doesn’t play fair. We know that.
Trust your neighbors and your well-known Internet friends (aka long-time FReepers with a record of posts to validate themselves). Be open to, but also skeptical of everyone else until they prove themselves trustworthy.
Trust, but verify. And trust doesn’t just happen—it must be earned.
I just found this (I don’t know ‘Source Watch’s’ reputation tho)

Grassfire is good. They’ve been around for a very long time and I think they worked with FR on the Gathering of Eagles.
I am in Africa, let them come and get me
I signed up with Grassfire back during the Amnesty debate to petition Congress and President Bush. They send me regular email updates about important Conservative issues.
Don’t know about Resistnet but, looking at their site, they seem to be just another of an evergrowing number of anti-Obama, pro-freedom sites.
Agree they have been around a long time.
My two cents on these groups is I recieve and read the e mails but do not send $$$.
Support my church with $$$ but no online e mails who ask for $$$.
And once a year a few $$$ to FReepathons.
Verify before trust
No problem... sign up anyway and put your name down...

I never have a problem signing up for those websites that ask for my name and address and phone number. I always give it to them... LOL...
That way, if “they” start rounding up people, Obama will be the first one they round up... :-)
