I am relaxing in our hotel room after attending a day at the Grand American in Sparta, IL. For those who aren't familiar, it is THE trap shooting event of the year. There were just under 2,000 entries in the handicap event this afternoon. It is a sight to see. Approx. 3 1/4 miles of continuous shooters for 15 straight days totaling over 31,000 entries.
By the way; my kid (13 y/o) tied for first in his class and has a shoot-off to determine first or second tomorrow. Wooohoo! HUGE!
