Best wishes to them.
Much nicer than Michelle Obama’s inauguration ball gown ;-)

Oh, Golly!
But...if it’ll make me look a foot taller and/or 20 lbs. slimmer, I’ll consider it, LOL!

The hens ARE currently molting; I’ll tell Husband to be on his BEST behavior, LOL!

Fashion-wise, I hate it; primarily for the bottom. I agree with the poster who thinks it looks like dredlocks. I love the top portion though.
Philosophically, however, I love the uniqueness of it. The sheep are just adorable too.

And there will always be a bad rash, too.Since she raises them, I guess she's used to them. It looks like there is a silk lining to the dress...

Coulda been worse, I guess. But it’s a shame the wool she raised wasn’t woven into some of the amazing fabrics English wool can become—feather-light, even semi-transparent yardgoods comfortable in the warmest summer. People think of wool as being only suitable for cold weather and don’t know how versatile it is.

To each her own, though.Yep -- it's not for everyone; but it's perfect for her and her way of life as a sheep raiser. Your plans for your daughters' weddings sound nice!

Could someone tell me why I got here? I’m not clear on why I got pinged for this thread.
To: Diana in Wisconsin
If I ever get married again, I just dont think a chicken feather wedding dress would look as nice, Should the need arise, I will personally drive to WI with my glue gun and glue each feather onto a lovely sheath just for you. (Because, I think it could be just as awesome as the wool)
