Years ago I read “Travels with Charlie” by John Steinbeck. He had traveled through the U.S. in the 30’s and decided to do the trip again with Charlie his dog.
It was a long time ago when I read it but really enjoyed it at the time.
Travels with Charlie, may be my all-time favorite Steinbeck book.
