A Chinese groom said his bride's 7,093-foot-long wedding dress has been submitted to Guinness World Records.\
Zhao Peng, 28, said the dress made by his family and donned by his bride at the Thursday wedding in Changchun out-stretched the old wedding dress length record of 5,180 feet and possibly set a new record with the 9,999 silk roses pinned to the gown, China's official Xinhua state-run news agency reported Friday.
"Both the length of the dress and the number silk roses pinned on the wedding dress can make history. But it doesn't matter whether I can successfully register it on Guinness," Zhao said.
Lin Rong, 25, said she both laughed and cried at Zhao's romantic gift of the dress.
"I also had 608 crystals stitched on the dress train in memory of our 608 dating days, starting from the first time I met with her," Zhao said.
Lucky guy /s
can’t find a pic ?
anyone???
Too short.
never mind . . . thanks!!!
Usually efforts to get the record for “pulling the longest train” are far different.
Interestingly enough, the same strength is required for both records!
When I was young, I gave my women shorty nightgowns.
Now I give them nightgowns with the skirts 5 yards long.
Pulling them up is the most fun! :)
Be honest. Wouldn't you rather be young again?
Send it to Castro. They're running out of toilet paper in Cuba.
Lol
Fidel Castro can learn to wipe with his beard, the old Commie goat.
