Did anyone else see the hit piece on CBS Evening News against conservative websites? According to the report, we are responsible for the turnout at Reps meetings which ask about Obamacare. They said we are instigating the people that show up at these meetings. Overall, it was a major negative story.

Who cares? It’s not about the report but about the questions and answers provided.

We knew this was going to happen, regardless of whether its true or not. The media has always been at war with conservatives. And they’re in a very big position of power. Beyond that, we have other websites such as Digg, DailyKOS, Democratic Underground, /b/, etc to fight against. This is why we must be persistent until the end. If we give up now, their actions are justified.

Liberals are fighting to survive. The more we gain ground the nastier they’re going to get.

Well yeah, that's probably because we are. Conservative websites inform the people about the things the lefties want to keep hidden, then people get mad about the Dems trying to pull the wool over their eyes, and show up at the "town halls."

It's called "freedom of assembly." Apparently another inconvenient constitutional right that the Left will take away when it feels that it has sufficient power to.

The fact is, the left and the dems fear the people...and they fear the truth.

All the more reason to hammer these people over this bill. Educate yourself. See the issues for yourself from the document. Then take that info and go after your reps and do not take no, or platitudes for an answer.

...and if they cancel or do not hold townhalls, then organizae and take it right to their offices.

Here is a link to the full House Democrat Health Care Plan in PDF. In Section 1233 E & F, pages 426-433, you find the part about mandatory end-of-life counseling for anyone over 65 years of age. Section 152 Page 50: All healthcare services will be provided without regard to "personal characteristcs" which is not defined within the document but is understood to include immigration status.

Section 224 b Page 125: The Secretary shall design and implement the payment mechanisms and policies under this section in a manner that — (1) seeks to (B) reduce health disparities (including racial, ethnic and other disparities).

A lot more provisions now being documented at that site.

Donwload it, read it, study it, then hammer your reps over it and pass it on to all you know asking them to do the same.
