Garlic...Knew there was something I forgot to do yesterday....Finished picking the kidney beans...dad shelled them. Picked another picking of green beans. Dried the first batch of onions. We’ve had too much rain this summer our tomatoes look awful, but are picking a few.

OTOH the thorn less blackberries are huge. Bought another basket of peaches so we'll have some fruit in the freezer....and then there are the Jackson County melons. Anyone freeze cantaloupe or watermelon successfully....Love to know your method.

hey mama, sorry i have not gotten those directions for the blueberry patch for you yet. things are crazy here right now. my tomatos are going crazy. and i have too many cucumbers. i will try to find those directions for you soon. :)

No but I’ve dehydrated both sucessfully. They taste like candy when dehydrated but you do have to be careful and keep track of how many pieces equal one slice otherwise you could eat a whole melon and not realize it since they are mostly water.
