I disagree. I predict that both Apple and Microsoft will sell more product next year. It's kind of difficult to compare because Apple is a hardware company and Microsoft isn't.

Apple will continue with their market niche. There is plenty of room for high-end (Apple), mid-range (MS), and bargain basement (Linux, etc.) software and hardware.

Kia is doing well, as is Ferrari.
