unless you think they are simply here for our amusement and you don't care anything for their wellbeing. I know my dogs. I know that they feel pain... People have a choice, dogs don't, in this instance. I'm just curious. What about hunting? Fishing? Trapping? Sled-dog racing?
I mean, if you think about it, I imagine a deer that has been gut shot with a bow and arrow is in a fair amount of pain as it runs all over hell and gone trying to get away.
Isn't that a whip the dog musher has at the back of the sled?

Isn't that a whip the dog musher has at the back of the sled? Hunting sort of, I only go for clean kills, fishing not they don't have warm blood. The gut shot deer actually puts off my aim. I miss too often because I aim in front to assure a shoulder/kill shot. I really hate to see an animal suffer. That's why I don't trap anymore. I wouldn't jump on any one else for it but it's just not for me.
