Yes, I do know what I’m talking about. I live in the same area and am aware of how he perceives himself. I heard him say when asked if he thought that faith had anything to do with his getting well. His reply was no. it was all his hard work”.
you are welcome to be crazy about him. I’m not. I like people who are humble enough to know that it is never ALL about THEM. I see some bad things coming for Armstrong on the path he is on
It is disappointing he doesn’t have faith. Reading his biography though, seems like there are some adults in his life that did him wrong. The Bible warns about the sins of the father and the impact on generations.
And it seems there is some ego necessary to compete at that level. He is just fulfilling what conservatives aspire to, hard work gets you places.
Perhaps it is your faith that needs a check up. God will look after his own. He looked after Lance and the countless people whom Lance touches through his LiveStrong foundation
In light of the work of his foundation and of Livestrong on behalf of cancer survivors, and all he has done and continues to do in the fight against cancer, for you to say he is an “its all about me” guy is one of the most incomprehensibly ridiculous things imaginable. That you live in his area does not solve this problem - it compounds it.
So it's all about you and your great predictive powers then?
As if having faith has anything to do with getting well. Tool.
