An appeal is only based on whether the trial was conducted properly. It is not the place to present different evidence.
No doubt Gerragos did everything in his power to get this murderer acquitted.
Actually, I think Gerragos did a terrible job.
He should not have promised exculpatory evidence he didn’t have. I doubt juries like being promised that and then it not being delivered. Gerragos needed to hit ever “doubt” he could, not talk about mysterious Hawaiians. Gerragos is a horrible defense lawyer.
