Like I said, name one viable GOP CONSERVATIVE candidate who has the youth, the energy, the ability to bring in enormous crowds, and the ability to raise large amounts of campaign $$$$ besides Sarah Palin, and I make take a look at him or her.

Otherwise, it's Palin, or I'm staying home in 2012.

At this point in the 1992 campaign cycle, hardly anyone knew who Bill Clinton was.

At this point in the 2000 campaign cycle, hardly anyone was talking about GWB for POTUS.

At this point in the 2008 cycle, no one seriously gave Obama a chance and Hillary! was the presumptive nominee.

Are there other conservatives I like? Sure. But to try to measure their 'viability' based on fundraising or crowd appeal vs. Gov. Palin for the 2012 race as we sit here in 2009 is rather foolhardy.

You know what would be really cool? It would be cool if we run a conservative candidate in 2012 who isn't Palin, and he or she loses by a percentage point or two because people like you stayed home to show us how much you value Sarah. Yeah, keeping a conservative out of the White House is the smart conservative play, right?

I'm for running a conservative nominee. I hope it's Palin but I will support anyone who wins the nomination who is not a RINO. And anyone else who isn't willing to do that is as much a part of the problem as Juan McCain and Miguel Huckabee.
