ABC News’ Teddy Davis reports: The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) has chosen former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney as the winner of the first Republican straw poll of the 2012 campaign.
With 20 percent of the vote, Romney finished ahead of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who received 14 percent, as well as Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, who each had 13 percent.
“For the hat trick, Mitt Romney takes his third straight straw poll,” said Tony Fabrizio, the Republican pollster who tabulates CPAC’s annual straw poll results.

Maybe you should acquaint yourself with CPAC?
Do you even know what CPAC stands for?
And you should also acquaint yourself with who runs CPAC and that would be the American Charlatan Union or ACU. David Keene is a CINO and is part of the establishment, same as Mitty boy... good old car salesman.
Are you not aware that the ACU was just caught red-handed trying to offer their services/endorsement to the highest bidder? Keene gave to Specter this past election so that should tell you a little something about who was running CPAC and how they view “conservatives.”
Funny how Romney has won that poll how many years in a row? I was at CPAC this year and it’s filled with rich snobby college kids from the east coast a perfect fit for Romney plus the fact that Keene had his hand in it so any straw poll from that organization should be taken with a grain of salt.
Oh and Palin didn’t speak at CPAC but Romney did... so take what you will from that - young people are just a tad fickle - just a tad...
