Another thought: If Congress tries to name any Health Care bill after Ted Kennedy, Republicans should offer Amendments to teach:
1.) CPR to victims who drive their cars off of bridges.
2.) How to call 911, after your car drives off of a bridge.
3.) How to walk into any fire stations or houses that you pass, on your way back to the Party, AFTER you drive your car off of a bridge.
4.) How to report an accident, after you do walk into the fire station, rather than just walk by the fire station.

I never read it, but I heard about an article in The Reader's Digest which demolished Teddy's version of the events. Roger Mudd deserves some credit too, for his interview with Teddy during his campaign for President.

If Teddy had managed to win the nomination in 1980, I don't think he would have stood a chance against Ronald Reagan.
