Frankly, I never drink for example diet sodas with sugar substitutes because I think they are basically chemicals and unhealthier even moreso than real sugar. I never have sugar substitutes and I never use them. I can understand people with diabetes staying away from sugar. But it is my belief that the chemicals in sugar substitutes may cause cancer and other health problems. I much prefer natural foods whenever possible.
Natural foods don't contain the same compounds found in aspartame? You sure about that?
Other than wild seafood, very little food sold is natural. For millions of years humans ate mostly wild deer, bears, tiny wild berries, nuts, and seeds, roots. The giant fruits and vegetables in stores are heavy modified from their natural state. They are man-made and not natural foods. Most of these creations haven't been around long at all.
