Tired. A little “thick” because of the fatigue, but I’m OK. I can focus on the bracelets off and on, and that’s good.

But looking forward to the last few chapters of Inspector Lynley. :o] (Wish I could afford to get the series...!)

Okay... don't know the book.

Am reading the "Shahnameh" -- epic Persian poem translated into English (mostly as) prose. 800+ pages, but it speaks volumes about Persian culture. (And even in this they didn't like the Arabs.)

Rostam and (his horse) Rakhsh is a well-beloved part of the story and one I've heard about often, but as a Westerner I had to laugh last night when I read about the earlier story of the beautiful Rudabeh and how she let down from her tower, for her lover to climb, her long black hair.
