I still don’t know who killed JFK but a certain change took place in the country after it happened and LBJ was not much of a help, either. Things started to go to $hit after that. Of course, Vietnam did not make things better, either. I think that the Vietnam era was a major turning point in American history. All I know is that I never bought the Lee Harvey Oswald story.

The changes were in place long before Kennedy. Try going back to FDR and his solutions to the great depression. The major change we were witnessing as baby boomers, was social justice, integration and that started under Truman.

I was a military dependent living in England in 1964 and all the crap we were doing in the later sixties, was already established there in '64. They had a huge anti-war sentiment with it's core being "Ban the Bomb". Our culture adapted the peace sign from them (although they used a three legged inverted cross).

Our rock pop culture and hippie movements stemmed from the importation of British rock music mentality and liberalized acceptance of drugs into our culture.

Look at the decline of Great Britain and you will see the model of our own decline. We are lagging them by about 15 years or roughly half a generation. We are just entering the phase of our youth feeling entitled not to work and thinking the world owes them a living in a style they choose. The Brits have been dealing with this (NEATS) for the entire generation.

To me this is where the conspiracy lies if there is one. I feel that Kennedy was the last of the American leaders. Since his assassination, we have been led down the path of indulgence and self destruction by weak leadership and strong influence of marxist and socialist ideas. It is, up until obambi, a subtle revolution the way the soviets planned it. After seeing the collectivization of GM and Chrysler and their tuurn-over to the proloteriet, I think they've succeeded.
