What’s with the veil Michelle had on? Do women cover their heads if they have an audience with the Pope? Not Catholic, do not know.

She looks like she is on her way to JFK’s funeral.

Yes, women cover their heads during an audience with the Pope. For once the woman was correctly dressed.

The veil Michelle wore is a mantilla. Women in audience with the Pope are required to dress modestly in black, just this way. For once, she got it absolutely right. Very nice.

A head covering is not in the least mandatory, even if one is a Catholic. I don’t know why Protestant women do this.
