God is outside of time, and can therefore see all of time at once. He therefore can see all of our individual moral choices, and our individual eternal destinies. However, He has by His own good will restricted Himself from making those moral choices for us. Instead, he gives each person of sound mind free will to choose good or evil, life or death, communion with Him or separation from Him. Yes, it is His will that we all choose good, life, and communion with Him; however, it is also His will that we be free to make those choices.
Trying to think about God from a human perspective is ultimately pointless. He is beyond our understanding. However, that’s why He sent His Son, Jesus, Who is Himself God, to live among us as an example. The best we can do is to love Jesus and follow His example in all things, and trust that all will be made clear in Heaven.
But He still knows what we will choose before we are even born, doesn’t He?
‘Yes, it is His will that we all choose good, life, and communion with Him; however, it is also His will that we be free to make those choices.’ Are His wills then, in conflict with each other when He creates those that He knows will not choose good?
Since He is beyond our understanding, why do so many people profess to know what God does, and why?
