It’s not apparent that the helmet was a factor in the aftermath of the accident. He was rolling horizontally. The heavyleather jacket did farmore for him than the helmet. Tough to tell what caused him to take the spill, and the audio cuts short as he’s still yelling and trying to explain what happened, so maybe the helmet was helpful then.

It could have been a speed wobble; I had that happen to me once at 65 mph with similar results. Since part of my ride on the pavement was on my face, I still have a face because of my full face helmet. The biker here made a big mistake by getting up; he might have suffered a spinal injury that could have been severely aggravated by moving around. If anything like that happens to anyone reading this thread, the smart thing to do is stay on the ground motionless until the EMTs arrive and do exactly what they tell you to do.
