She wants to be Governor real bad. The hispanic vote is important. I think she feels she can toss overboard the Republican vote, knowing that a large percentage of Repubs will still vote for her, to pick up the hispanic vote.

This is one conservative member of the GOP that would not vote for her as dog catcher in Fort Bend County, were our county over-run with Chihuahuas.

For the general your prediction may would be correct but for the primary she still needs to get the nomination. Now I know a voter can declare which party primary he/she chooses to vote in on election day. So yes the hispanic vote could be swayed from that standpoint I guess.

I don’t doubt that she might vote for the “wise latina”, but hispanics aren’t going to turn out in large enough numbers to decide an off year Republican primary.

We need better candidates than Tex Perry and the ditzy blonde. Perry is somewhat the lesser of the two evils, though.
