Thank you very much for remembering my post. I stand corrected! I am glad she will oppose Sotomayor. Also, saw a story today that she replaced her campaign manager. She wants to be gov, but I don’t think she has the support. On July 16th Rassmusen polls indicated she was 10 points behind Perry, so maybe she saw the writing on the wall and decided to give it one last try with a new manager.
Also, saw a story today that she replaced her campaign manager.
I was up in the DFW area today and it was on the radio news. Here’s a clip from the DMN Trailblazer Blog.....

Hutchison’s campaign manager out
A few weeks before she’s expected to formally annouce what we all know - she’s running for governor - Kay Bailey Hutchison’s campaign manager of six months is gone. Rick Wiley is being replaced with Terry Sullivan.
What’s old is what’s new. Sullivan was leading the 2006 campaign Kay For Governor campaign that she quit. Now that she’s back, pledging to really take on Gov. Rick Perry in the primary, so is Sullivan, who is known as a hardball strategist.
The change comes as supporters worried allowed that the senator’s message is muddied and that she’s slipped behind in the polls. Wiley said, as has been widely rumored and rejected previously, that he is going to Wisconsin to work for Mark Neumann for governor.
Hutchison also has added three new communications folks: Jeff Sadosky, who worked in communications in her Senate office, as press secretary; Joe Pounder, a rapid-response guru for House Whip Eric Cantor, R-Virginia; and Jennifer Coxe-Baker, who headed the public affairs office for Labor Sec. Elaine Chao in the Bush Administration.
