Time for the year's 3rd major championship(already)and the only one of the 4 that is not played on this side of the Atlantic.
This year's event takes us to the west coastline of Scotland, to Royal Turnberry Golf Club where I'm sure the weather will have a lot to do with who wins and who doesn't win.
So what storyline is going to be written this time.....
Can Padraig win for the 3rd year in a row? Is Tiger going to tie his buddy Roger and win his 15th Major? Can Greg Norman turn the fountain of youth on again, but keep it on Sunday too and shock the world? Or do even bigger underdogs, like John Daly or David Duval revisit past glory? Or do stars like Paul Casey, Sergio, Ernie, Anthony Kim or others get the big prize come Sunday night?
Who do you think will hold the Claret Jug come Sunday??
Early weather forecast for the weekend, intermittent rain showers with highs in the low 60's.
Tiger tees off at 4:09AM EDT(9:09AM BST)on Thursday.

I’m still rooting for Tom, but if Cink wins, I won’t be sad.

My ABC on the west coast is showing it. Ugh, he hit it out in the brush.
I've got the sound down. I'm assuming the morons in the gallery are yelling, so it's better watched with subtitles.
To: weston
Come on TOM!! Take a breath and go get it!

Playoff is continuing.... Looks like Tom is tired and is in big trouble as he could only advance his 2nd on 17 about 50 feet.
Looks like Stewart Cink has his hands wrapped around the Claret Jug.

Tom’s flatstick let him down all day, of course no more so than on 18.
To me, even with the great up and down on 6, this thing was decided on 18.

And with both on the 17th green, it really looks like it’s over. Stewart Cink is a wonderful champion and a great guy. No worries.
Tiger Woods should look very closely at Tom Watson in this loss. No club banging, no profanity, no ‘poor loser’ antics going on. Watson puts Woods to shame.

Too bad for Tom. Cink had a nice rest while he waited. No rest for Tom. His legs have to be gone. Congratulations to Cink and freep family!

Uh, like all the time. When he hits a bad shot, he utters the F-word a lot.
