Time for the year's 3rd major championship(already)and the only one of the 4 that is not played on this side of the Atlantic.
This year's event takes us to the west coastline of Scotland, to Royal Turnberry Golf Club where I'm sure the weather will have a lot to do with who wins and who doesn't win.
So what storyline is going to be written this time.....
Can Padraig win for the 3rd year in a row? Is Tiger going to tie his buddy Roger and win his 15th Major? Can Greg Norman turn the fountain of youth on again, but keep it on Sunday too and shock the world? Or do even bigger underdogs, like John Daly or David Duval revisit past glory? Or do stars like Paul Casey, Sergio, Ernie, Anthony Kim or others get the big prize come Sunday night?
Who do you think will hold the Claret Jug come Sunday??
Early weather forecast for the weekend, intermittent rain showers with highs in the low 60's.
Tiger tees off at 4:09AM EDT(9:09AM BST)on Thursday.

Tom Watson again is your leader. Unfreaking believable!!!!
Westwood should be done. He worried me.
I think he’s actually gonna do it!!
Are all the good tv golf directors dead? We don’t even see the hole on the shot of Warson’s latest birdie try.
Watson.
Great shot by Stewart on 18. “Can’t put it on the green”-right.
That 2nd shot on 16 by TW was special. Looks like he takes another par.
Lee has this in his back pocket for a while until the last 2 holes. If Lee can only salvage par on 17 and TW can find one more birdie.......
OH MY OH MY!!!! But first Stewart Cink may have something to say.
Guess what, Lee has an eagle putt coming up after sending the tee shot left.
Tom in the first cut on 17. And Cink posts -2 with the only birdie on 18 today!!
Congratulations, Mom!
Guess he isn’t done.
No eagle.
What a finish this is turning out to be.
Cink in at -2. Westwood birdies 17 to -2. and old Tom staring him down from the fairway!
Does he have eagle or birdie in him at 17!
Tom rolls just through the green at 17. Almost a shot for the ages.
“Too far.” But, should be a birdie.
Now, Westwood is done.
Westwood in the bunker on 18. Horrible break.
Could the impossible be happening? Birdie-Par wins it for Watson now.
Tom Watson is one up with one to play.
I cannot imagine what he is feeling right now. I am nervous as heck just watching.
There are very few sporting events that have made me tear up.
If Tom reaches 18 safely, that walk up the 18th fairway may bring the tears.
SAFELY IN THE FAIRWAY AT 18!!! CMON TOM!!!
OK. Stewart Cink in second alone.
Westwood bogies 18 , in at -1.
3 shots from the Championship for Tom.
