Time for the year's 3rd major championship(already)and the only one of the 4 that is not played on this side of the Atlantic.
This year's event takes us to the west coastline of Scotland, to Royal Turnberry Golf Club where I'm sure the weather will have a lot to do with who wins and who doesn't win.
So what storyline is going to be written this time.....
Can Padraig win for the 3rd year in a row? Is Tiger going to tie his buddy Roger and win his 15th Major? Can Greg Norman turn the fountain of youth on again, but keep it on Sunday too and shock the world? Or do even bigger underdogs, like John Daly or David Duval revisit past glory? Or do stars like Paul Casey, Sergio, Ernie, Anthony Kim or others get the big prize come Sunday night?
Who do you think will hold the Claret Jug come Sunday??
Early weather forecast for the weekend, intermittent rain showers with highs in the low 60's.
Tiger tees off at 4:09AM EDT(9:09AM BST)on Thursday.

Fisher bogey as well. You just know his wife is not going to call if she goes into labor. Women are smarter than men.
Fischer in trouble again on 5 and Tom has a birdie putt on 4. Come on Tom, time for the crowd to roar...
Fisher in really big trouble now, and is looking at maybe a triple bogey.
2 under will be the lead here in a minute....
Unless he holes out for a 6, yes, at least a triple bogey.
I’m guessing now might be a good time for Ross to get the phone call!!
Now with Watson waiting, a group at -2 will be sharing the lead. Tom must find the fairway here on 5, even with the long wait.
Fisher a quadruple bogey on the 5th.
Ouch a snowman for Fisher, and suddenly the round Snow is putting together is looking really really good.
Watson gets a slightly bad break on his second shot on 5 as it does not release right onto the green, but still in good position for par.
UGH senior brain.. WOOD not Snow. LOL...
That would ruin your day, unless you’re about to be a daddy for the first time.....
Wood, Snow, they sound alike!!!
24 players within 4 shots of the lead as Lee Westwood makes birdie to tie at -2.
Going to be one heck of a back nine.
The heart is obviously bleeding for Watson. For him to possibly pull this off would be fantastic.
Wood Bogey’s and now it is Westwood and Watson at -2. Watson with a beautiful shot on #6.
Westwood eagles the 7th.
Watson has a putt for eagle on the 7th.
Eagle try for TW coming up. At least he’ll be only 1 back of Westwood.
Get a grip, Tom!
The flat stick is letting Tom down so far. Plenty of holes left though and lots of wind for everyone to deal with...
Tom made a total hash of # 9, but, Westwood may give it back here shortly.
Where some tournaments go easy on the commercial breaks, this thing seems the exact opposite.
Same thing again. Tom bogey at 14 and Lee gives it right back.
Tom with a birdie putt coming at 15.
You ain’t kidding. It’s like a mortal sin if more than 10 minutes of golf is shown without a commercial break. It gets really irritating after a while.
